The FCIS and The Investigation Service of Sakartvelo (Georgia) signed memorandum of understanding

Today (on 23rd of May) the Financial Crime Investigation Service under the Ministry of the Interio (FCIS) and Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Skartvelo (Georgia) signed the Memorandum of Understanding aimed at cooperation of the aforementioned institutions combating financial and other offences within their competence.

The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by Antoni Mikulskis, Director of the FCIS, and Soso Ramishvili, Head of Investigation Service of Sakartvelo (Georgia). This bilateral cooperation foresees the exchange of information on financial offences, share of methodological recommendation about disclosure and investigation of such offences. The aforementioned law enforcement institutions of Lithuania and Sakartvelo (Georgia), following the signed Memorandum of Understanding, will have a possibility to participate in the international projects and training.

Together with Soso Ramishvili, Head of Investigation Service of Sakartvelo (Georgia), the following persons have come to Vilnius: the Deputies of the Head of the aforementioned institution – Vaja Panozishvili and David Shakarashvili, Deputy Head of International Relations and Legal Division.
